"I often juxtapose a scene influenced by Eastern art with a still life painted in the western classical tradition. This is done on a hardwood box with an inset area, which gives me two planes on which to paint the different styles," she said. "I preserve the different qualities from the East and the West, and celebrate both cultures' traditional senses of beauty, while creating consonance and congruence between the images through composition and color of the painting."

Influenced by traditional painting, from Dutch still-life art of the 16th and 17th centuries to landscape, flower and bird paintings of the Tang and Sung Dynasties in China, Chang seeks to "draw forth connections and compatibility between cultures. What are Wholesale Rustic For Bathrooms ?"

The peaceful coexistence of different cultural sensibilities, artistic methods and life experiences are inherently possible and desirable. My work attempts to evoke this unity."
