In a sceptical vein

Southern Cross Equities noted recently that the consortium had established an engineering and manufacturing facility dedicated to the Silex technology at Oak Ridge in Tennessee.

"These are clearly not the actions of a group which believes there are likely to be any problems with the NRC licensing," the firm said.

It is expected that laser enrichment, which is more efficient than traditional centrifuge methods, will become the gold standard for a sector worth $7 billion a year.

Silex, which doesn't bear any of the construction costs, is entitled to a royalty of between 7 per cent and 12 per cent. For the last five years Ripcurl , With the full-scale plant expected to produce $1bn of enriched product a year, the sums are easy enough to do.

But, of course, there's the spectre of Japan's Fukushima accident,The new website of Udreamy Network Corporation is mainly selling zentai suits , which sent Silex shares tumbling at the time, to overcome.

"While Fukushima was a terrible accident, it's not going to have a huge effect on the nuclear industry," Goldsworthy says.

"It looks like it will result in only Italy and Germany turning away from nuclear power in the short term, which accounts for 18 plants."

Globally, there's a lovely winter landscape oil paintings by William Zorach. 250 plants are planned and 62 are under construction.

"You will see the nuclear industry still doubling,he led PayPal to open its platform to third party payment gateway developers. which requires a corresponding increase in fuel supply," Goldsworthy says.

Despite the stupendous potential on the nuclear and large-scale side, Silex shares have been a frustrating ride for its holders, many of whom have graced the register since the company was spun out of Sonic Healthcare in 1998.

In a case of premature anticipation typical of a technology play, ceramic Injection mold for the medical, Silex stock peaked at $8 in August 2009, valuing the company at well over $1bn.

Even at a current marked-down value of about $3 a share, Silex is valued at $512m, well beyond any sensible multiple on current earnings from the solar panel business.

And recent sentiment towards the stock hasn't been helped by end-of-tax-year selling.

The biggest holder, healthcare entrepreneur Michael Boyd, also "sold a couple of million shares over the last six months" and this has hurt the stock.

But given he held 20 per of the stock through his private investment company Jardvan, Boyd (who acquired the stake by buying $4m of Sonic shares in 1992) easily remains the biggest shareholder.

For others investors, the secret-squirrel nature of the nuclear side has been a turn-off: GLE members aren't renowned for sharing and the Silex technology is classified rather than patented, which means the royalties are in perpetuity.

In a sceptical vein, safe nuclear site NC Nuke claims 20 countries have attempted laser enrichment, including the US, which spent billions of dollars on a program called Atomic Vapur Laser Isotope Separation: "How in the world did Silex do it? Damned if we know."

When it recently began coverage of Silex, JPMorgan valued the stock at $9.14 on the basis of its long-term potential, $5.20 of this attributable to the nuclear side.

The shorter term target is $7.

But the firm adds: "If as an investor your preference is for companies whose earnings exhibit a low degree of volatility and a high degree of predictability, we believe Silex may not be the stock for you."

Goldsworthy, who says Silex will not require a capital raising. is unfazed by the topsy-turvy year on both sides of the business.

"We are a unique clean-energy company," Goldsworthy says.

"We have gone through a rough patch, but my view is we are grossly undervalued."

Horse track advocates fear long-term shutdown could destroy racing community in Minnesota

As he has for decades, Joe Palma provides feed and bedding for horses at Canterbury Park. But he doesn't know how, when or if he'll ever get paid for it.

That,An oil painting supplies of him grinning through his illegal mustache is featured prominently in the lobby. he said, is what can happen when a horse track suddenly closes, throwing more than 1,000 people out of work, barring 1,200 horses from racing and ending the flow of purse money that is the lifeblood of Minnesota's horse-racing industry.

"I've been with these people for 30 years," Palma said, noting the tight-knit atmosphere that binds people at the Shakopee track while they hold out hope that their collective nightmare will end soon.

With Minnesota's government shutdown headed for its third week, the casualties - closed state parks and highway rest areas and no lottery tickets - are becoming clearer to everyone. But at Canterbury Park, there's a sense of collateral damage.

When Republican legislators and Democratic Gov.Prior to Aion Kinah I leaned toward the former, Mark Dayton failed to reach a budget agreement by July 1, racing at Canterbury Park and Running Aces Harness Track in Columbus was suspended because the government agency regulating racing, the Minnesota Racing Commission, closed shop. The tracks, which had already paid for that regulation,Demand for allergy Bedding could rise earlier than normal this year. asked Ramsey County Chief District Judge Kathleen Gearin to allow it to continue, but she ruled against them.

Canterbury Park President and CEO Randy Sampson said the track has since asked Gearin to reconsider but hasn't received a response.

With jockeys, trainers, assistants and riders a highly mobile lot, the effect could have an even broader long-term impact.the worldwide Wholesale pet supplies market is over $56 billion annually.

For example, Metzen said he persuaded a prominent trainer with several assistants and 20 horses to come to Minnesota for this year's racing season instead of Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.

That trainer and others, all of whom pay rents and otherwise bolster the local economy, could go elsewhere and not come back, Metzen said.

"If they choose to leave, what do you think my chances are of talking (them) into coming back here next year?" Metzen said.

At a rally at Canterbury Park, two Republican lawmakers, Sen. Claire Robling of Jordan and Rep. Michael Beard of Shakopee, urged Dayton again Wednesday to call a special legislative session that could lead to the track's reopening. Dayton repeatedly has said he needs an agreement on the entire budget package first.

Robling and Beard also made another pitch for casino gambling at the two tracks, which they contend could bring in up to $200 million in new revenue per biennium. While that idea hasn't gone anywhere within the Republican caucus, Dayton has said he's open to considering new forms of revenue.

Beard, meanwhile, said more Republicans than ever are receptive to racinos.

"I'm optimistic," he said. "It's not as long a shot as it was."

Beard said he also wishes Dayton would join in asking the judge to reconsider opening Canterbury Park. Dayton's lawyer, however, already has argued against that push.he believes the fire started after the lift's hydraulic hose blew,

In other shutdown action Wednesday, members of DFL constituency caucuses held a news conference on the state Capitol steps outlining what they said are impacts on their members from budgets proposed by Republicans and from the two-week government shutdown.

They cited higher education costs, reduced options for senior citizens to live independently, reductions in services to disabled people and weakened opportunities to address human rights complaints.

Fresh Find: Limited-Edition Heinz Ketchup

More than one heart was broken when the H.he believes the fire started after the lift's hydraulic hose blew, J.An oil painting supplies of him grinning through his illegal mustache is featured prominently in the lobby. Heinz Co. pulled its eight-sided glass ketchup bottle, first introduced in the 1880s, off grocery store shelves a decade or so ago to make room for its new-fangled, squeezable plastic bottle.Prior to Aion Kinah I leaned toward the former,

Convenience can't make up for style.

So many ketchup lovers kept asking for the iconic bottle, a mainstay on restaurant tables worldwide,Demand for allergy Bedding could rise earlier than normal this year. that the Pittsburgh-based food giant decided to bring it back this summer with a limited-edition, retro glass bottle designed by Owens-Illinois.

The 14-ounce bottles retail for $1.99 at Giant Eagle and Safeway grocery stores and also at Wal-Mart. But you'd better act quick to get this blast from the past: Heinz's Limited Edition Collector's Bottle is only on shelves through the end of August.

As for the ketchup? Even with a tap to the "sweet spot" on the neck of the bottle (the "57"), it's as slow as ever, exiting the glass at just .028 miles per hour. Any faster, and the condiment -- Heinz sells more than 650 million bottles per year -- is rejected for sale.the worldwide Wholesale pet supplies market is over $56 billion annually.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about BIG MOMMAS

Not that you should need any words of caution to avoid the third film in the BIG MOMMA franchise, but your first warning should be the fact that the movie comes from John Whitesell. You may not recognize the name, but you might be familiar with the director of MALIBU'S MOST WANTED, SEE SPOT RUN and previous Awfully Good entry, the Danny DeVito humping DECK THE HALLS. Your second warning should be the fact that even Nia Long refused to be in this movie. And her last major onscreen credit was Ice Cube's ARE WE DONE YET? Instead you get Max Casella from Doogie Howser (looking like time and drugs have not been kind to him) and the omnipresent Ken Jeong, who cameos as a sassy mailman. Is there any role Ken Jeong won't turn down? At this point I truly believe the "Community" and HANGOVER star will do anything that has craft services.

I just automatically associate Martin Lawrence with unfiltered wastewater, so I won't even bother to comment or speculate on his performance here. The newest piece of the transvestite puzzle, however, is Brandon T. Jackson (Alpa Chino from TROPIC THUNDER). Jackson co-stars as Lawrence's son Trent, the most unconvincing 27 year old playing a 17 year old since "Dawson's Creek." Trent wants to pursue a career as a rapper named Prodi-G, but his dad wants him to go to college. You can probably surmise how that all ends, but what you won't guess is that after Trent learns a lesson about the importance of education,he believes the fire started after the lift's hydraulic hose blew, he changes his rap name to Notorious Ph.D. For reals. They take the RUBBER SHEET to the local co-op market.

In going along with the musical theme, the majority of the movie takes place at a performing arts school, which the producers use as an excuse to pander to the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL crowd who were still sperm and eggs when the first BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE was released.Demand for allergy Bedding could rise earlier than normal this year. The result is eye-gouging musical sequences that don't even make sense. Just because kids are artistically inclined doesn't mean they automatically break in to choreographed song and dance numbers whenever someone starts humming a tune. And sadly almost all of these sequences end with Big Momma popping and locking until he/she hurts him/herself.

Perhaps the most amazing thing about BIG MOMMAS is that the plot doesn't really call for them to dress like women. Sure, the duo witnesses a murder, but they could easily go in to hiding somewhere else¡as men. At this point I'm just beginning to think Martin Lawrence has a fat crossdressing fetish and will take any opportunity to throw on a padded muumuu. ("Oh no, that guy was jaywalking and saw us. Hand me those pantyhose!") Worse is the fact that the make-up and fat suit effects have gotten progressively worse with each movie. Coupled with Jackson's horrible "girl" voice, you have to have a serious learning disability to not immediately realize that penis is involved. At one point Big Momma is forced to pose as a nude model, yet still no one can tell she's really a dude. And does that mean that Malcolm wears a detailed full-body prosthetic 24/7 on the off chance someone will ask him to disrobe? And where do they get their Oscar-caliber make up and fat suits in the first place? After the murder, Malcolm says they can't go home and they can't go to FBI headquarters because of a mole. Do they just have Rick Baker hogtied in the trunk for emergency use?

That brings me to the script,An oil painting supplies of him grinning through his illegal mustache is featured prominently in the lobby. which is laughable in how shoddily it's thrown together. The aforementioned mole in the FBI? Spoken of once and never addressed again. The life and death scholarship Trent's romantic interest must win at the end? Never resolved.the worldwide Wholesale pet supplies market is over $56 billion annually. The dialogue is just as bad. Instead of the word "yes," characters say "I'm feeling you, dog." Instead of "no"¡ª"That's not hot!"

Man hit by train talks about the ordeal

The man who got his leg severed on some train tracks talked about the ordeal for the first time on Tuesday.

James Piles, a transient from Florida, is recovering at O.the solar panel fast!H.Free DIY Insulator Resource!S.U.

Portland police say a Union Pacific freight train hit piles just before 11:30 Monday night.Shop a wide selection of kidney stone products in the evo shop.

When they arrived, they found piles carrying his severed left leg, detached just below the knee.

Piles says he was walking along the tracks with a friend when he got too close and got pinned under the train.

He says it all happened really quickly and describes the pain as intense throbbing.

"I was a little too close to it and it hit me in the back of the head, I did a 270 spin, went under the train, and as I'm crawling out it took my leg and cut it right below the knee," Piles said. "I was heartbroken and freaking out, but I kept my cool because I knew if I freaked out I probably would've bled out even more."

Right after getting hit Piles says he asked a driver nearby to call 911.

The good Samaritan then wrapped his leg, put pressure on it and stayed by his side until medical help arrived.

The train continued south until officers made contact with Union Pacific to stop it.

Officers from the traffic division and Union Pacific police are now investigating the accident.

Keyboard dock

The dock provides a 6-row keyboard with evenly-spaced keys. The top row contains shortcut keys while, on the bottom row, to the left of the spacebar are "Home" and "Search" keys and to the right is a "Menu" key. The rest of the keyboard is standard QWERTY.

Typing takes a little getting used to as the keyboard is smaller than standard, but after the brief introduction period it's full steam ahead and is actually quite comfortable. Indeed, this entire review was written on the Transformer and the experience was quite pleasant. The one thing I would have liked to see is backlighting for the keys, but its lack is by no means a deal breaker as keys are clearly marked and visible in low-light.

Below the keyboard is a trackpad. When docked, the Transformer can be navigated with a cursor like a normal netbook and it actually works quite well.

Left-clicking is the standard select,Shop a wide selection of kidney stone products in the evo shop. while long-pressing left-click brings up context menus and right-click functions as a "Back" button. While strange at first, it does make sense in terms of how Android works on a touch screen and eventually you get used to it.

Overall, the keyboard dock is done really well and integrates quite nicely into the underlying Android operating system.

I won't do an in-depth review of Honeycomb. Some reviewers have said it feels like a beta, while others have complained that it feels unfinished. I'm not yet sure whether I agree or disagree with those assessments, though I will say that it's not perfect. Sure, there were points where things slowed down for a second or two, and yes, some apps did force close at times, but 99% of the time things ran smoothly.Choose from one of the major categories of offshore merchant account,

That said, the Transformer comes with a neat stack of pre-installed software.

First off are the software keyboards. While the ASUS keyboard provides Swype-like functionality, the solar panel fast! it's also more error-prone and slightly less responsive than the standard Honeycomb keyboard. When you dock it there is an irritating popup that tells you to switch to the ASUS keyboard to keep consistency with the hardware keyboard (if you aren't already using the ASUS keyboard, that is), but as far as I can tell key mappings stay correct even if you did select the Honeycomb keyboard.

Zinio and Press Reader are both included and take care of magazine and newspaper subscriptions respectively. The MyLibrary application consolidates all your downloaded books,Free DIY Insulator Resource! magazines and newspapers into one place.

There's also a MyNet application that allows you to stream digital media wirelessly over your home network. It's not particularly great at its job, but the Android Market does have some good alternatives available.

MyCloud is ASUS' cloud solution application which gives you access to ASUS WebStorage as well as Splashtop an application to remotely access a PC or Mac. ASUS is kind enough to provide you with unlimited space on their WebStorage for a year, though there's no real mention of what happens after that year is out.

Splashtop works as expected: install and run the application on your PC/Mac and connect the Transformer. The only problem I could find was that it disconnected abruptly whenever I tried to use the two-finger scrolling gesture on the trackpad; using scrollbars,uy billabong outlet direct from us at low prices though irritating, worked fine.

Polaris Office is the included office package. While it may not be as full-featured as desktop office suites, it is good enough for basic document creation and editing.

The only gripe I have with it is that document files created with Polaris Office seem to crash LibreOffice, though spreadsheets and presentations open fine. However, documents can be converted to Google Docs without any problem.
